6 months!!

oh my goodness... half of an entire year!! we can't believe how big our bean is getting. she says da-da (first word), ma-ma, hi (except it sounds more like hey), and she just started saying "ca" for camo the cat :) we started her on solids, and she llooooves peas and sweet potatoes yummm, and enjoys carrots and pears. she has 2 bottom teeth, and i definitely think she's workin on a few more because she ferociously chomps on anything she can find. AAAND she's doing the army crawl, can push herself to a sitting position from being on her tummy and pull herself up to standing in her crib... so, in a nutshell, we have a very active super-fast growing girl on our hands, and are kind of exhausted (but in a good fulfilling way).

brian, eli, and i had a wonderful time at the williams' household for a yummy dinner party on sunday, and we have pictures of the happy couple to prove it! eliette practically jumped jet the second she saw him and we had to declaw them from each other multiple times... so cute! they even held hands at one point, and shared pacis (jet has her pink one in the last pic haha). oh, and yes, eli's hairdo is ridiculous (hat head).

an early christmas

i just wanted to comment on how happy i am that our little bean was born in a time that is embracing change that has been so badly needed. i slept a whole lot better last night knowing that her future can be a whole lot sweeter in america.

so eli has started giving real kisses to us, and it's the best thing in the world... this pic isn't really proof, but i thought it was cute any way... we got to hang out on our lovely new grass the other day (thanks daddy!!)

well i've discovered that our little bean is a big ham for the camera hehe... her first photoshoot was super successful and i can't wait to get all of the prints in my hand. beth moser did an amazing job!

we had lotsa-lotsa fun at the park today with some of the big kids (cousin charlie, cousin shayne, ashliegh, and ethan). eliette can't wait to run around with them, but still had a great time chillin with the mommies and loungin in the shade :)

1st time at point dume!

so yesterday we decided it was a perfect day for our favorite spot in malibu since brian had the day off. eliette had such a great time and we thought the ocean air would be good for her. it was so fun that we decided this weekend would be perfect for camping on the beach. so excited!!

we had a great time visiting with our cousins Erin, Brian and lil (not so lil actually) Jack, and loved hanging at the park. funtimes.

so a muddy dee-dee the dog runs into a happy eli while grandpa charlie decides to hold her standing on the ground in the backyard. mommy freaked out and quickly grabs her heading to a bath. eliette thought it was funny. i definitely have a forbes.

Yes, Eliette officially has her first cold :( BUT, the goodish news is that she's building a strong immune system woohoo! And as you can see, she is still a happy chatty Bean.

we had the best time with the kids in palm springs over labor day weekend... i wish we could've stayed longer. eli LOVED the pool and her lolita sunglasses hehe. hayley and t-bone were into hiding from the camera, but they had fun too (waterslides & a lazy river!! how could that be boring?!)

well, eli bean and the rest of us forbezes have sort of been hibernating in our new baby glory, and i am finally starting to see a little crack in between the ever time-consuming mountains of new parenthood (aka eli's new bedtime of 8ish woohoo!). so now i'm going to try and make my family and friends happy by uploading some long awaited pictures and video with this new free timeslot before i hit the haystack. here are a few pics (i love the ones of her with my mom on the swing, cute!) i took during month 2... oh i just love her eeek!
